Formål:
This course will enable you to use basic statistical terminology with ease, to spot classic mistakes and to understand or even challenge statistical colleagues. You will be introduced to descriptive statistics, hypothesis testing, sample size calculation, confidence intervals, parametric and non-parametric analysis, methods to avoid bias, statistical pitfalls and useful guidelines.

Indhold:
• Statistical issues in planning, conducting, and reporting clinical trials
• Data types
• Descriptive statistics
• Randomisation – incl. baseline differences
• Multiplicity (PtC on multiplicity)
• Statistical models
• Responder analyses and individual effect
• Missing data imputation

Målgruppe:
The course is aimed at non-statisticians, who work with clinical research, including Clinical Project Management, Clinical Operations, Medical Writing, Data Management, SAS Programming, Pharmacovigilance, and Regulatory Affairs.

Forudsætninger:
The course is taught in English, unless all students are Danish.
